The KaTropa held their ground against the Hotshots Sunday at the Ynares Center here, picking up a big-time 104-99 victory in the 2017 PBA Governors' Cup.
Now at 7-3, TNT boosted its chances of grabbing a twice-to-beat advantage in the quarterfinals by Bill Mazeroski Womens Jersey forcing a tie for third place with idle NLEX.
With the Hotshots storming back from a 17-point deficit to cut the lead to two, 98-96, with 57 seconds to go, TNT turned to import Glen Rice Jr. in the clutch to avoid a disastrous collapse.
Rice scored the final six points for the KaTropa, back-to-back tough layups and a pair of insurance http://www.authenticpittsburghpirates.com/Andrew-Mccutchen-Jersey free throws, to seal the deal. Those six points were his only makes in the final period after putting up 37 in the first three quarters.
He ended up with 43 markers on top of 19 rebounds, and nine assists.
"We knew going to our last four games that it's gonna be a tough stretch for us. We've been going through ups and downs but I think the more important thing is us finding ways to win," head coach Nash Racela said.
"And that's exactly the same message I had for Glen during one of our timeouts because he was complaining about the non calls. He was saying we were in penalty while the other team didn't have any fouls in the fourth quarter. I just reminded him that that refs won't adjust for sure, the only thing we could do is find ways to win. Play through it and play above it," he added.
Aside from Rice, TNT's trio of Gilas Pilipinas standouts delivered as Adidas Cam Neely Womens Jersey Jayson Castro, Troy Rosario, and RR Pogoy all scored 12 points each.
After a close first half, the floodgates opened for the KaTropa in the third period and the team led by as many as 17, 89-72, behind Rice.
However, in typical Star fashion, the Hotshots made it a game behind an incredible team effort although it was never enough to actually take control in the fourth quarter.
New import Kristofer Acox, who replaced young Malcolm Hill, led the way for Star with 18 points and 18 rebounds while Paul Lee and Ian Sangalang dropped 17 points apiece.
The Hotshots dropped to 5-4 for the conference.
It's as if TNT head coach Nash Racela is begging to get fined by the PBA.
Despite picking up a crucial win over Star Sunday at the Ynares Center here, Racela had a lot to say about the officiating anew.
In particular, coach Nash was fuming over a technical foul called on him during the fourth quarter in the middle of a spirited Star comeback from 17 points down.
What pushed Racela over the edge though was the fact the his Hotshots http://www.authenticbostonbruins.com/authentic-brad-marchand-jersey counterpart Chito Victolero, a fellow rookie head coach, was only called for a warning.
"Tinechnical na naman ako ng mga favorite," Nash said during his official post-game interview, obviousy referring to the officiating crew.
"Paano yun? Tinechnical ako nasa loob ako ng court, pero si Chito [Victolero] warning lang nasa loob din ng court. Anong diperensya nun?" he added.
Nash's mini rant continued, slowing down only after he was reminded that he was live on TV and online.
"Hay nako. Alam ko na diperensya, pangalan," he said. "Uy live na? Game na? I-edit na lang ah."
Nevertheless, Racela continued to throw shades during the rest of his interview, saying he specifically told import Glen Rice Jr. to play through non-calls because those calls will not adjust to them.
"He [Rice Jr.] was complaining about the non calls. He was saying we were in penalty while the other team didn't have any fouls in the fourth quarter," Racela said.
"I just reminded him that that refs won't adjust for sure, the only thing we could do is find ways to win. Play through it and play above it. Today we did," he added.
Walking into the press room, coach Nash said that a fine from the PBA might be on the way. With yet another explosive post-game rant, it would be an actual surprise if he's wrong.

Thousands of ticketless away supporters turned up outside the ground and there were some Andrew McCutchen Womens Jersey scuffles between fans and stewards inside after the gates opened.
Police said five people had been arrested on suspicion of public order offences.

"A group of Cologne fans entered the Emirates Stadium adjacent to the away section and proceeded to fight with stewards in an attempt to gain entry to the away section at around 20:15," he said.

An Arsenal spokesman said: "The players were relaxed and preparing for the game despite the delay. The decision to go ahead was the best option and the safest option."

Cologne are returning to European competition for the first time in 25 years.

The Cologne fans are all over the Emirates, they're meant to have the 3,000 seats behind one goal but it's become very apparent that they're pretty much in the whole lower tier at that end.
There is a riot police segregation in the middle of that tier but it's Cologne fans either side of it.
    21:00 BST
We now have the comical sight of riot police separating Cologne fans. The question has to be how did so many Cologne fans manage to get into Arsenal areas? There needs to be an investigation into how this has happened.
The match itself appeared to pass off off without any incidents of crowd trouble

  • Meet Ateneo's rising star Tyler TioDateThu Sep 14, 2017 12:37 am

Forced to wait a season and a game before making his UAAP debut, Ateneo de Manila University guard Tyler Tio showed exactly why he was such a highly recruited prospect out of Xavier School.
In his very first game for the Blue Eagles, Tio converted all six of his shots, including two booming Authentic DJ LeMahieu Womens Jersey three-pointers in the fourth quarter that allowed Ateneo to pull away completely from University of the Philippines (UP) on Wednesday afternoon.
He finished with 14 points and two assists in Ateneo's 92-71 win in the Battle of Katipunan, after missing http://www.authenticcoloradorockies.com/Gerardo-Parra-Jersey their Season 80 opener against Adamson University last Saturday due to an ankle sprain.
"It was a lot of fun for me," the 19-year-old rookie said afterward. "Thankfully, okay ang performance ko."
This performance was a long time coming for Tio. He was technically a part of the 2016 recruiting class, but had to sit out UAAP Season 79 due to citizenship issues: Tio only formally became a Filipino citizen earlier this year.
He was solid in Ateneo's preseason tournaments, but then sat out their first game due to injury. Tio could have been forgiven had he played with a touch of 'gigil' against the Fighting Maroons, but instead, the young guard was in control throughout his 11-minute stint.
"Of course, I was very excited to play," said Tio. "But I wasn't thinking coming into the Authentic Christian Yelich Youth Jersey game that I had to score this amount of points."
"I just wanted to make sure that I played correctly, and followed Coach Tab (Baldwin's) system," he added. "Thankfully, okay naman ang nangyari."
He did not play like it, but Tio admits he did feel some jitters. "I just tried my best to fight it," he said.
Mostly, Tio is simply thankful to have finally gotten the first game http://www.authenticmiamimarlins.com/Dee-Gordon-Jersey out of the way.
"It's been a long wait, that's for sure," says Tio. "I just used the time to get better and prepare."
Nevertheless, Tio wouldn't promise that his future performances will be as explosive as his debut. After all, he is still only in his first season, and is still working his way back from injury.
"I don't wanna say anything," he said. "I just want to try my best, and God will take care of the rest."

An imperious Cristiano Ronaldo struck twice on his first competitive start of the season as Chris Thompson Womens Jersey Real Madrid beat APOEL Nicosia 3-0 on Wednesday to get their quest for a third successive Champions League crown off on the right note.
Ronaldo has been banned from domestic football since August for pushing a referee and only needed 12 minutes to get back amongst the goals in the competition where he is the all-time top scorer, meeting Gareth Bale's low cross to arrow home.
The Portuguese struck the underside of the crossbar early in the second half then moments later hit his 109th Champions http://www.authenticnikeredskinshop.com/colt-mccoy-jersey-for-sale-c-42.html League goal by powering home from the spot after APOEL's Spanish defender Roberto Lago was harshly penalised for handball.
Captain Sergio Ramos rubber-stamped what was a routine victory for Madrid over the Cypriot champions with a scrappy overhead kick in the 61st minute.
Ronaldo was denied another penalty and a potential hat-trick when he was tripped in the area but his appeals Authentic Blake Swihart Womens Jersey went unnoticed, while late in the game he had a goal chalked off for a clear offside.
Ronaldo also strayed offside in injury time as he sent the ball across to Borja Mayoral, whose tap in was also ruled out.
Real had struggled for goals in their last two Liga encounters, surprise home draws with Valencia and Levante, and Ronaldo's return came at a perfect time for Zinedine Zidane's side, who were missing Karim Benzema and in-form forward Marco Asensio through injury.
The Portuguese still has one game left to serve of his five-game domestic ban and will miss http://www.authenticbostonredsox.com/Brock-Holt-Jersey Sunday's trip to Real Sociedad.
Madrid's opening goal came through a well worked break started by the sparkling Isco, who danced his way past his opponents to work the ball to Bale, who in turn found Ronaldo.
Bale has been much maligned in Spain recently for his timid performances this season but was involved in all of Real's goals, flicking the ball into the air and off the shoulder of Lago, who was in disbelief when the penalty was awarded.
Ronaldo showed his time away from the pitch due to suspension has done little to change his usual hunger for goals and as soon he had blasted into the bottom corner from the spot he ran to pick the ball out of the net to start the game again in pursuit of a hat-trick, although a third goal proved elusive.
"Cristiano scores so many goals and we really noticed his presence tonight, and I hope he keeps up this run," Ramos told reporters.
"His quality is unquestionable and Madrid are going to benefit from his return."

Kane's instinct in front of goal was the difference as Spurs were largely forced on the back foot by an impressive German side who dominated territory and possession.
His first goal - a rising angled finish following a determined run down the left - capped a frantic opening 15 minutes in which Son Heung-min's opener from an angle was cancelled out by a superb curling finish from Dortmund's Andriy Yarmolenko.
The England forward's second was a low finish inside the far post on the Alexei KovalevAndrei Markov Authentic Jersey hour mark to give his side the edge they needed as they overcame the threat of their dangerous and relentless opponent.
However, the home side ended the game with 10 men as defender Jan Vertonghen was shown a second yellow card for catching Dortmund substitute Mario Gotze with a swinging arm.
The visitors can point an accusing finger at the officials, who ruled out a perfectly good goal from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for offside.
This is just the second win of Tottenham's tenancy at Wembley, which includes all of last season's home Champions League group stage games and two Premier League matches this campaign.
It leaves them [url]http://www.authenticcanadiensonline.com/Authentic-Andrew-Shaw-Jersey[/url] second in Group H behind Real Madrid, who beat Apoel Nicosia 3-0 in Spain.
Both of his goals against Dortmund were world class; showcasing not only his ruthless ability to finish chances but also his determination and ability to fashion opportunities for himself.
Kane also illustrated the creative aspect of his game, setting up Son for what should have been the second goal of this industrious display as deputy to the suspended Dele Alli.
And Kane should have had a hat-trick but dragged another shot wide of the far post following a headed pass from the busy Christian Eriksen.
He was withdrawn to a standing ovation, allowing Fernando Llorente his Spurs debut and Bill Bates Jersey taking with him a record that now reads 28 goals in his past 22 games for club and country.
Dortmund are a modern marvel of a club - repeatedly churning out highly competitive, fluent young sides.
They arrived in London as joint leaders of the Bundesliga but seemingly handicapped by an injury crisis that denied them the use of a number of key first-team players, including Marco Reus, Raphael Guerreiro, Andre Schurrle and captain Marcel Schmelzer.
But such is the ability of their squad and the nous of new manager Peter Bosz [formerly of Ajax], they were able to produce a highly http://www.nikecowboysjerseys.com/bob-lilly-jersey-for-sale-c-61.html impressive display that would have ripped apart a side less defensively adept than Spurs. And they could have yielded at least a point but for an error from the officials.
Aubameyang thought he had made it 2-2 with a brilliant finish on the half-volley near the back post but was denied by the assistant's flag, lifted in response to a group of retreating team-mates, not the Gabon forward.
Aubamayeng also had a low shot from inside the box saved by Lloris and Christian Pulisic slid an effort wide for Dortmund, who claimed 67% of possession but came away with no points.

The world's most expensive player coolly finished and then had a hand in PSG's second, which was finished emphatically by Kylian Mbappe.
Edinson Cavani converted a penalty for the visitors' third before the break.
Mikael Lustig's own goal was followed by Cavani's second of the night, a superb diving header.
Elsewhere in Group B, hosts Bayern Munich won 3-0 against Anderlecht, who had a man sent off.
Celtic have hosted many of the great powerhouses of European football over the years, but even those with the Bennie Fowler Womens Jersey longest memories would probably struggle to recall a side as devastating as PSG.
Their speed of thought, speed of movement, accuracy and imagination was extraordinary. Their confidence on the ball - even when playing intricate passes in their own penalty area to get out of trouble - was a joy.
Quality on this scale costs, of course. The biggest compliment you can pay the visitors is they looked every inch the half-billion-pound team they are.
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers went with young Tony Ralston at right-back with Lustig playing centre-half. Ralston was keen as mustard, biting into http://www.officialauthenticbroncostore.com/Nike-Bradley-Roby-Jersey.html tackles on Neymar, but this was a night when enthusiasm and heart were not much use to Celtic.
Unai Emery's visitors had the ball in the net after 15 minutes but Cavani was offside. It was a warning to Celtic, not that it was needed. The subtlety of PSG's play was not something they could cope with. Soon, the doors started opening for the visitors.
Celtic had legitimate gripes about a foul on Scott Sinclair moments earlier, but when PSG countered it was precise and beautiful. Adrien Rabiot, relatively unsung in this team of stars but sensationally good on the night, played Neymar in behind Ralston and the Brazilian thumped his shot past Craig Gordon.
There were less than 20 minutes on the clock and all sorts of trouble was heading Celtic's way. They actually had Anibal Sanchez Youth Jersey some moments of optimism before PSG's second, Leigh Griffiths forcing a save from Alphonse Areola with a free-kick.
This modicum of Celtic hope was soon batted away. It was as if PSG were telling them that if they had the temerity to come out and attack there might be a heavy price to pay for it at the other end.The second came, Neymar at the heart of it again, of course. It was he who started the move and when Marco Verratti put in a cross from the right, it was Neymar who made the run - Celtic had not a notion where he was - and then nodded across goal. Cavani had a fresh-air swipe but lurking http://www.authentictigershop.com/authentic-cameron-maybin-jersey.html behind him was Mbappe, who thumped in the second.
A goal apiece for PSG's monster summer signings - and then a third for their principal goalscorer, Cavani. It was painfully soft from Celtic's perspective. A cross from Neymar, a push by Jozo Simunovic on Cavani and a penalty duly rifled home by the Uruguay striker.
The Celtic fans who were not open-mouthed at PSG's class by now were covering their eyes at the thought of what might happen next. They had no idea that the next moment would be so shocking - and, inevitably, so damaging.
A spectator ran on to the pitch, was allowed to make his way towards Mbappe and then appeared to aim a kick at the winger. Celtic fans booed him, but the damage was done.

A mesmeric Lionel Messi scored twice as he inspired Barcelona to a 3-0 win over Juventus to get off to a flying start in Champions League Elgin Baylor Womens Jersey Group D on Tuesday avenging last season's quarter-final elimination by the Italian champions.
Messi broke the deadlock on the stroke of halftime by playing a slick one-two off Luis Suarez and arrowing the ball beyond Gianluigi Buffon, finally getting the better of the veteran Italian in his fourth game against him.
The Argentine was also the catalyst for the second goal, forcing Juve to scramble the ball off the line and allowing http://www.officiallakersshoponline.com/Dennis_Rodman_Jersey Ivan Rakitic to shoot into an empty net in the 56th minute and add to his strike against Juve in the 2015 final.
But Messi was far from done. For his second and Barca's third he received a pass from Andres Iniesta and ripped more holes in a depleted Juventus Charles Barkley Jersey defence before lashing beyond a dejected Buffon, scoring his seventh goal in three games.
Juventus, who were missing five key players including defensive warrior Giorgio Chiellini, looked a shadow of the team that beat Barca 3-0 on aggregate last season to reach the final, and have conceded seven goals in their last two games in the competition over two seasons.
Like Barca, Juve arrived at the game with three wins from three in the domestic league and with their own Argentine http://www.official76erstore.com/Dana_Barros_Jersey Paulo Dybala also in electric form with five goals in three games.
But their long list of absences, which also included Mario Mandzukic, Claudio Marchisio and Sami Khedira, proved costly.
Miralem Pjanic did manage to trouble Barca goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen in the first half but the Spaniards, who have been facing instability off the pitch but look fresh and confident on it under new coach Ernesto Valverde, did most of the talking.
Messi gave the Italians nightmares from the word go, but captain Andres Iniesta was also in electric form, while record signing Ousmane Dembele had an impressive full debut, making for a party atmosphere at the Nou Camp to accompany the show put on by their relentless Argentine talisman.
"When we play at this speed it's very difficult to play against us," Rakitic told reporters.
"Barca don't change coaches very often but now we have new ideas and we're very happy with how things are going."

University of the Philippines (UP) coach Bo Perasol expects nothing less than a battle when the Fighting Maroons face off against Brock Nelson Youth Jersey Katipunan neighbors Ateneo de Manila University for the first time in the UAAP Season 80 tournament on Wednesday.
Both teams won their opening games of Season 80, but in contrasting fashion: Ateneo routed Adamson University, 85-65, last Saturday, but UP needed a game-winning triple from Paul Desiderio to take down University of Santo Tomas, 74-73, on Sunday.
Perasol, who coached Ateneo for three years before returning to his alma mater, sees the Blue Eagles' performance against the Soaring Falcons as a warning to the rest of the UAAP.
"They were so formidable," Perasol said of Ateneo, which is now led by Thirdy http://www.officialislandersproshop.com/Cal_Clutterbuck_Jersey Ravena and the Nieto twins, Mike and Matt.
So impressive was Ateneo's win over Adamson that Perasol felt compelled to put them in equal footing with defending champion De La Salle University.
"I really thought La Salle would be the one who is going to be way ahead of the pack, but when I saw Ateneo yesterday, I think they are going to be going head-to-head, Ateneo and La Salle," he explained.
One particular player who could cause problems for Perasol and UP is Ateneo center Chibueze Ikeh, who pounced on the absence of Adamson's Papi Sarr to tally a double-double of 18 points and 17 rebounds.
Perasol was Ikeh's coach in his first season in the UAAP, and the UP mentor expressed his pride at the Nigerian center's achievement.
"I actually texted him that I was really proud of him," said Perasol. "Hindi ko naman sinabi na hindi sana Channing Frye Youth Jersey ganoon ang ilalaro niya against us, but I was really proud of how he performed (vs. Adamson)."
"Not just him (Ikeh), but all those rookie guys," he added. "They've really improved, they matured, and I think they'll be one of the teams that is going to be contending this season."
Perasol acknowledged that the Fighting Maroons will be the underdogs against the Blue Eagles on Wednesday, but he makes it clear that they are not backing down.
"Kahit sino man ang tanungin ko, alam naman nila kung sino ang lamang," he said. "But we are going to make sure that anything in our power, we'll give it to them."
An upset is not out of the question – the Fighting Maroons memorably shocked the Blue http://www.cavaliersproshop.com/Derrick_Williams_Jersey Eagles, 56-52, in their second round meeting of Season 79.
"Sana, ma-tsambahan," as Desiderio put it. "Malay mo – may off (day) naman sila. I-grab namin ang opportunity na 'yan."
The Blue Eagles, for their part, are treating the "Battle of Katipunan" as if it were any other game.
"Each and every game, we treat it the same way," said Ateneo's Thirdy Ravena, who exploded for 20 points and 10 rebounds against Adamson. "We just treat it as if it's a Game 7 of the Finals. Just come to the game prepared, and then address it."
The match-up between Ravena and Desiderio, both members of the Mythical Team in Season 79, will surely be one to watch. But also interesting is the duel between big men Ikeh and Ibrahim Ouattara of UP.
Ikeh turned in one of the best performances of his UAAP career, while Ouattara struggled with foul trouble and managed only four points and eight boards against the Growling Tigers.
Game time at the Big Dome is at 4 p.m., with the winner seizing the solo lead in the league standings.

McLaren's split from Honda, and new partnership with Renault, looks imminent and the Chris Carpenter Authentic Jersey rumour mill is grinding faster as Formula One embarks on an Asian swing of races starting in Singapore this weekend.
Multiple sources told Reuters that negotiations had progressed as expected and official confirmation was likely within days.
The cracks in the McLaren-Honda partnership have been evident for months, with former champions McLaren chafing at engine problems that have left them ninth in the 10 team championship.
Media reports over the weekend that Toro Rosso driver Carlos http://www.officialbaseballcardinalsstore.com/Dexter_Fowler_Jersey Sainz is set to move to Renault in 2018, and maybe even before, have further fuelled speculation that the deal is done.
The Spaniard's move would be part of a general agreement that will see Honda take their engines to Red Bull-owned Toro Rosso, whose Renault supply would then become available for McLaren.
McLaren need a more competitive engine to satisfy sponsors and retain the services of Spain's double world champion Calvin Pickard Womens Jersey Fernando Alonso, whose contract expires at the end of the season.
Spanish media and online reports said Sainz - a young talent long coveted by Renault - was set to move to the French manufacturer team as a sweetener for Toro Rosso terminating their engine contract.
Some suggested Sainz could be in yellow overalls as soon as Malaysia, the race after this week's Singapore Grand Prix, if Renault dispense with the services of Britain's Jolyon Palmer, who has yet to score a point in 13 races.
That in turn would free up a place at Toro Rosso for Pierre Gasly, the winner of last year's GP2 championship, who has been http://www.officialavalancheauthentic.com/Carl_Soderberg_Jersey waiting for an opening at the Red Bull junior team.
"I know there are a few things going on at the moment," motorsport.com quoted the Frenchman, who is racing Super Formula in Japan, as saying. "We will see in the next couple of days what will happen.
"For me, it will be amazing. It (Formula One) has been my dream and I've been working really hard to get there."
The website also quoted him saying he hoped to be in Malaysia, but the driver later denied that on Twitter.
"Just said I was hoping to drive for STR soon mate, never mentioned Malaysia," he replied in response to a comment by NBC Sports' F1 reporter Will Buxton. Sainz, Renault and Toro Rosso were saying nothing.
Spanish media, focused mainly on Alonso's future, reported that Honda had informed McLaren they were willing to switch to Toro Rosso and that Alonso was negotiating for a one-year extension.

By the 57th minute, they were back on level terms after a penalty from replacement stand-off Olver on his home debut. But the thin margin between success and failure was then neatly encapsulated when Olver hit the left post with a second Authentic Brock Holt Youth Jersey penalty attempt.By contrast, at the other end, Wasps full-back Le Roux went clear down the left to score and, unlike Olver's kick, Gopperth's conversion went in off the post.Gopperth also added a further two - for an individual nine-point haul - to winger Bassett's late try, set up by Danny Cipriani's chip kick.
Warriors boss Gary Gold told BBC Hereford & Worcester:"To lose Nick Schonert was a blow. It looks like he may have broken his ankle. And we lost Tom Heathcote to another bang on the head."Wasps were last year's finalists and are a very good team. They scored 50 points last week. And there's a long way to go with lots of twists and turns."But we've got to improve and we've got to do it quickly. Nobody can question our http://www.authenticbostonredsox.com/Carl-Yastrzemski-Jersey commitment. We just need to work on our accuracy."
Wasps boss Dai Young told BBC Sport:"These are games you can lose and it was a little bit cruel on Worcester not to get a losing bonus point. But I always felt we had something in hand."When a team scores just before half-time they gain momentum and it took us a long time in the second half to turn it round but we defended well and I was pleased with our resolve."It was a great finish by Marcus Watson but no surprise. That's why we signed him. And Josh Bassett took his try well too."

After Marcus Watson's converted try and a Jimmy Gopperth penalty put the visitors 10-0 up, Biyi Alo's converted try reduced the lead before half-time.
Replacement Sam Olver's penalty then levelled the scores at 10-10 before he thenAuthentic Francisco Lindor Womens Jersey struck the post with another kick.
But two late tries by Willie Le Roux and Josh Bassett, both improved by Gopperth, settled Wasps' nerves.
On top of missing out on a losing bonus point when Bassett went over, Worcester's defeat came at a further cost, with the loss of prop Nick Schonert to a suspected broken ankle and another concussion blow for the returning Tom Heathcote.
Rokoduguni's two late individual tries sealed victory for Bath over double http://www.officialindianstore.com/Jason_Kipnis_Jersey European champions Saracens in a thriller at the Rec on Saturday.
"Scoring those tries shows what an unbelievable player he is," Blackadder told BBC Radio 5 live."He's just exceptional. Money can't buy what he can do."
Despite scoring twice on his last appearance for England, against Fiji in 2016, Rokoduguni has been largely unused under head coach Eddie Jones.
But Blackadder is confident the player is developing an all-round game for international rugby."He knows why [he's not been picked]," Blackadder added."One of the things he has been working really hard on his defence, because he's never going to be out of any side because of his attack, because he's absolutely brilliant [in attack].
"He's one of those freakish guys, the only coaching we are doing with him is defensively and I thought it was one of his better defensive efforts."
Bath full-back Anthony Watson, who also excelled against Saracens, is to have a scan on Monday on the Braxton Miller Jersey arm injury which forced him off the field in the second half.
While Blackadder admitted after the game there was a bit of concern for the player, it is understood the problem is not expected to be too serious.
Watson played all three Tests for the British and Irish Lions against New Zealand in the summer, and is an England regular.
Meanwhile, Blackadder says the club will be able to cope with the departure of popular head coach http://www.texansproshops.com/Benardrick_Mckinney_Jersey_Cheap Tabai Matson, who is returning to New Zealand on compassionate grounds after Friday's trip to Northampton."Internally we have known for a little while this could be a possibility," Blackadder said."All the coaches, in a roundabout way, have sort of taken over his portfolio and we are all doing a little bit more."Tabs has made a massive contribution to the team and to Bath Rugby in his time here, and I suppose if we were to honour him, [his departure] would be seamless."That's our challenge, to crack on and get on with it."
In their first home fixture of the season, coming off the back of an opening weekend 35-8 drubbing at Newcastle, Warriors got off to a nightmare start against last term's Premiership runners-up when Schonert went down in the very first minute.Gopperth's penalty, followed by his conversion of Watson's beautifully created solo try in the right corner, added to the pain. But Worcester ended the first half well, having a Heathcote try chalked off for obstruction before replacement prop Alo finally crossed on the stroke of half-time to narrow the gap to 10-7.[/url]

The North Iowa Bison came prepared in an excellent contest between they and the Anthony Castonzo Youth Jersey West Hancock Eagles. Though the score doesn’t reflect the content of the game, the two teams battled through the first two sets where either team could have won them. The Bison and Eagles never let each other out of their sights in the first set with either team not trailing by more than 2 points before roaring back to take a slim one or two point lead.
The Eagles were led by strong outside hitting from Brigid Smith and Emily Ryerson who were continually set up well by Ryann Hagen. On the other side of the net, Rachel Schutter continued to feed the ball to Katlin Adams and MacKenzie Bengston who shot kills http://www.indianapoliscoltsauthorizedstore.com/darius-butler-jersey down the middle back of the Eagles. The Eagles had the opportunity to take the set, leading 24-23 and serving. However, the Bison were equal to the task and found seams along the edges to get points and tie the set twice before winning 28-26.
The second set saw the Bison fall back early but return strong. Bekah Jensvold of the Bison took a lead roll as a middle hitter finding small holes in the Eagle defense. She flared out as an outside hitter on occasion striking down the line for points. Sydney Burgardt stepped in for the Eagles along with Kaitlyn Ohrt to polish up the back corners of the Bison. Burgardt got three kills in those zones and Ohrt found space for points on three Authentic Benardrick McKinney Youth Jersey other occasions to make the match another even heat up to a 19-19 tie. Jensvold took command in the late stages of the set lacing three of her six kills to cinch the victory 25-20.
The third set saw the Eagles unable to answer the strong service of the Bisons’ Jordan Ostrander who rattled off eleven successful serves which the Eagles could not return. The Eagles found themselves down 12-1 before starting to mount a comeback. In the process, they began to get a little out of system leaving gaps where the Bison would attack with kills. Adams, Jensvold, and Bengston repeatedly hammered away at the open spaces http://www.houstontexansauthorizedstore.com/arian-foster-jersey while the Eagles were only able to muster a small comeback before falling 25-10 and losing the match 3-0.
The Eagles are now 1-4 and will face Belmond-Klemme on Saturday as they begin a five match road trip that takes them to Forest City, Newman Catholic in Mason City, Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire, and eventually to Algona to face Bishop Garrigan. The Eagles will return home on September 26th for Senior Night against Belmond Klemme. That will be their final home match before they embark on three matches on the road in October.
For the Bison, it’s on to Spirit Lake for a tournament there before returning home on Tuesday to face the Belmond-Klemme Broncos at 7pm. The Bison are now 2-2 and move ahead of the Eagles in the Western Division of the Top Of Iowa Conference.
